Make your own art shirts

1. Draw something.
2. Get a sewing embroidery hoop ($7) and cut some curtain fabric ($6 per yard) to fit.
3. Trace the drawing onto the fabric.
4. Get some Mod Podge ($5 at craft stores).
5. Turn the hoop around and use a small brush to trace the negative areas of the drawing.
6. Use a big brush to fill the larger negative spaces. Let it dry for a day or use a blow dryer to set the Mod Podge.
7. Get a 24x18 board, a brush and some fabric paint.
8. Stretch a shirt over the board, place the design where you want it, and apply fabric paint with large brush.
9. Scrape it with a spatula. Then lift off the hoop...
10. And there you have it. Home-made art shirt.
