The following videos were made today at Xtranormal. For those of you unfamiliar with the site, it allows you to make robotic dialogs for two fake characters. It allows a person to focus on dialog and interaction with the camera, and can be useful if you don't have any friends who are into acting or that live close by. Simple to use. This was just made in the spirit of fun, nothing really serious. Hope you all enjoy it.

I presented the video above as a gift the day before but I didn't work on it as hard as I could have. I kept putting it off for various reasons. I'm a procrastinator and a workaholic. It may not seem obvious but I work very hard trying to avoid work and then actually working when an assignment is close to being due.
The reason for procrastination differs for everyone. My primary reason that I think too much about the end result. Basically I set up mental road maps to desired destinations. It's all fine and dandy until I start thinking about how it is accepted by others, or more accurately my projected image of them. As the cliché goes, I set myself up for disappointment. It's something I unintentionally work very hard at so that my anxiety and fears are kept very well fed.
If you'd like to read more about the rut of procrastination and tips on how to get out of it I recommend starting here.

The Identity Process

This image is not me. Though I will admit that I tried to make it realistically resemble me.
Try as I may, no image can catch my amazing amount of splendor. (Note: The contents of the last sentence are nowhere near true and should be taken with many grains of salt. Huge vats if you have them.)
The truth is that I haven't been able to pass uncanny valley yet. Whenever it feels like I'm closer to making something look real, the reality only seems to go farther way. It is a continual conscious process that is equivalent to molding one's identity from a simple gesture to the person you choose to be.
