| 1. Draw something. |

| 2. Get a sewing embroidery hoop ($7) and cut some curtain fabric ($6 per yard) to fit. |

| 3. Trace the drawing onto the fabric. |

4. Get some Mod Podge ($5 at craft stores). |

| 5. Turn the hoop around and use a small brush to trace the negative areas of the drawing. |

| 6. Use a big brush to fill the larger negative spaces. Let it dry for a day or use a blow dryer to set the Mod Podge. |

| 7. Get a 24x18 board, a brush and some fabric paint. |

| 8. Stretch a shirt over the board, place the design where you want it, and apply fabric paint with large brush. |

| 9. Scrape it with a spatula. Then lift off the hoop... |

| 10. And there you have it. Home-made art shirt. |
